    Abstract

    The worldwide competitive struggles in high-tech environment such as knowledge-based companies have featured the necessity to infer how competitive advantage is gained. Dynamic capabilities as the origin of competitive advantage emphasize the changing character of the environment and nature of future competition, acceleration in innovation growth, and the main role of strategic management in adaption, integration, and reconfiguration of organizational skills, resources, and working competences toward shifting environment. The recent inquiry is based on an interpretive paradigm and an inductive approach. The qualitative part of the research is conducted with exploratory purpose through grounded theory strategy. Abstract

    BACKGROUND: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the common diseases and today, it is considered as not only an important cause of mortality but also a significant aspect of health geography. The evidence presented in the literature indicates that hard water may reduce the cases of sudden death caused by CVDs because drinking water contains significant amounts of calcium and magnesium, which play a crucial role in the electrical activity of heart. Hence, the present study aimed at investigating the relationship between water hardness and CVD mortality rate in Isfahan, Iran.METHODS: In this ecological study, the available data regarding the cardiovascular mortality rate and water hardness have been used. Preparation of zoning map has been

    Journal PapersRussian Journal of Non-Ferrous Metals , Volume 59 , Issue 1, 2018 January 1, {Pages 15-Jun }

    Abstract

    In this paper, beneficiation studies were carried out on a low-grade tungsten-bearing scheelite from Nezam Abad ore with total WO3 grade of 0.11%. Mineralogical studies showed that scheelite is mainly distributed in the ore and gangue minerals include Quartz and Tourmaline. Liberation degree (d80) of tungsten- bearing scheelite is achieved around particles size 150 μm. Gravity concentration, magnetic and flotation methods were conducted by using experimental designs including fractional factorial and response surface methodology. Gravity concentration results indicated that jig separator could not be able to improve tungsten grade in size fraction +600–1750 μm; however, shaking table increased feed grade up to 27.05% with

    Abstract

    Innovation is considered the advantage cause for the nations in creating wealth and access to the development. Different countries have specific plans and policies to promote innovation. One of the strategies to develop high-technologies and innovation is the innovation networks approach. These networks work based on collaboration and learning. In recent decade, a considerable emphasis has been placed on learning self-organized innovation networks in different researches; nevertheless, despite such affirmation, a gap does exist for studying ways of improving and explaining the exact effects and its prerequisites. This research aims to study such gap(s) in innovation networks. Embedded case studies have been used as research methodology in t

    Abstract

    Materials and Methods: This descriptive, comparative, retrospective study examined the biochemistry laboratory OSCE/OSPE scores obtained by the students from 2011 to 2015. The data collection tools used included a demographic information questionnaire and a researcher-made checklist. Over these four years, 649 students took this examination. The data collected were analyzed in SPSS-22 using descriptive statistics (tables of frequency distribution and the mean and standard deviation indices), the independent t-test, the one-way ANOVA and Scheffe’s post-hoc test.Results: The scores of 361 female students and 288 male students were assessed in this study. The mean score was 11.6?1.83 in the female students and 11.2?1.75 in the male students

    Abstract

    The objective of this article was to propose a framework to explore the infrastructures required to implement digital banking as previous studies have merely sufficed to introducing its different aspects. Since digital banking is viewed as the future model of banking industry and many banks around the globe are investing in the development of their digital capabilities, designing and implementing a corresponding model can result in further adaptability of banks with emerging necessities of the banking industry. Thus, this article is an effort to identify the prerequisites and facilitators of digital banking through reviewing the current literature and incorporating the views of industry experts. It is a qualitative research with the use of

    Journal PapersRevista Publicando , Volume 5 , Issue 17, 2018 November 27, {Pages 338-356 }

    Abstract

    In the emphasis on knowledge as a key competitive factor in the global economy, corporations may be overlooking a major element–customer knowledge. Customer knowledge management (CKM) creates new knowledge sharing platforms and processes between companies and their customers. Customer education is one of the best ways of customer knowledge management. Despite companies’ growing interest for customer education and the recent awareness in marketing literature of this concept, research on customer education remains relatively scarce. In this research a model which details the relationships between customer education and customer satisfaction was proposed and validated for Nano food product. The existence of two mediating variables was unve

    Abstract

    BACKGROUNDRecent studies examining the association between sleep duration and cardiovascular disease (CVD) showed inconsistent results. The aim of our study was to evaluate the association between self-reported night sleep duration and ischemic changes in electrocardiography (ECG).METHODSWe conducted this cross-sectional study on 3513 participants from Iranian middle-aged population as a part of Isfahan Healthy Heart Program (IHHP), Isfahan, Iran. Sleep duration was obtained by questioning participants. The frequency of electrocardiographic ischemic changes was calculated using ECG Minnesota coding system.RESULTSShort sleep duration was associated with increased frequency of electrocardiographic ischemic changes. In a fully adjusted multipl

    Zayandehrud River Speaks Reading the Riverine Landscapes of Seventeenth-Century Isfahan

    Abstract

    Along with London, Rome, Paris, Istanbul, St. Petersburg, Beijing and other celebrated cities that dotted the landscape of early modern world, 17th-century Isfahān has been acknowledged for its impressive urbanity. As such, numerous books and articles have attempted to unravel its rich history. However, scholarship on 17th-century Isfahān has often framed the city within the narrative of grand architectural projects that were inspired by one man’s political ambitions, and realized by powerful individuals. Because of this explicit focus on human agency, the architectural narrative of Isfahān has often overlooked the significance of the city’s distinct natural setting, and its effect on the form, direction, and nature of urban developm

    Journal PapersClinical and translational medicine , Volume 7 , Issue 1, 2018 December 1, {Pages 38 }

    Abstract

    Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a progressive immune-related disorder of the central nervous system leading to destruction of myelin sheaths. Natalizumab is a humanized monoclonal antibody against the cell adhesion molecule α4-integrin which has been approved for treatment of relapsing forms of MS. This study aims at determining the effect of natalizumab on expanded disability status scale (EDSS) score and relapse rate of MS patients. Fifty MS patients participated in the present prospective cohort study. Twenty patients (Mean age ? SD: 33 ? 6.03) received natalizumab and 30 patients (Mean age ? SD: 36.83 ? 7.24) were under treatment with IFN-β (control group). Patients were followed-up during a 12-month period.
