At TMU, we are encouraging all types of international collaboration including
joint projects, joint publications, as well as joint supervision of graduate
students. In this regard, international mobility is an indispensable part of
such collaborations.
Our office is in charge of sponsoring the visa for such a mobility. For majority
of countries, the process is quite straightforward. Once we hear from the
hosting department, we shall need a color passport photo, the image of the first
page of your passport and the application form to be filled out by you. The
passport photo should have a light background with no shadows and the person
must directly face the camera. Please also have your host faculty member to fill
out these two forms in Persian on your behalf.
Once your visa is processed, we will send you your visa notice. You can either
take it to an Iranian consulate to pick up your visa or you can pick it up at
one of the designated airports in Iran who are authorized to issue visa on
arrival. However, your pick up choice must be indicated on your visa application
